On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport your guide collects you and takes you to a budget-friendly lodge in Arusha. This simple but comfortable hotel is the ideal place to unwind after your flight and get ready for the days ahead.

Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe & Datoga

Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe & Datoga

Lake Eyasi offers a remarkable cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Datoga peoples. The Hadzabe live as hunter-gatherers and the Datoga are skilled blacksmiths. During your stay you experience their traditional way of life up close:

Day 2

Arrival at Lake Eyasi and an introduction to the Hadzabe and Datoga. You can join in their daily activities, such as hunting with the Hadzabe or watching the Datoga make weapons and jewellery.

Day 3

A morning walk or drive through the region to explore more of the area around Lake Eyasi. In the afternoon you head to Karatu for the night.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Today you drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its striking baobab trees and large elephant population. On the game drive you spot elephants, giraffes, zebras and countless bird species. The park is quieter than others, so you can enjoy nature in complete peace.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions and large bird populations. The game drive offers a great chance to spot animals and birds, from flamingos along the lake to monkeys in the forests.

Serengeti National Park

Three full days

Serengeti National Park

You drive to the iconic Serengeti National Park, where for three full days you experience the rich animal life: the Big Five, predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, and depending on the season the migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Day 6

Arrival in the Serengeti and your first game drive.

Day 7

A full day of game driving, with a picnic lunch in the middle of nature.

Day 8

An early start for a final game drive before you return to Arusha.
