When is the best time to visit Tanzania?

Tanzania is beautiful all year round. June to October is dry and ideal for spotting wildlife; for the Great Migration we look at where the herds actually are. We’ll advise you on the best time for exactly what you want to see.
What does a safari cost and what’s included?

That depends on your route, pace and lodges. Included as standard: your own guide, private vehicle, accommodation, park fees and transfers. We match flights to your wishes. After a short conversation you get a clear, honest price, without middlemen.
Is a safari in Tanzania safe?

Yes. You travel with an experienced local guide in a private 4x4, stay in carefully chosen lodges and have a dedicated point of contact available 24/7. We are members of the GGTO and the Calamiteitenfonds, so your trip is financially protected too.
Can I put my trip together entirely myself?

That’s exactly the idea. Our sample itineraries are starting points, not packages: you decide the route, the pace, where you stay and when you leave. We’ll help you think through what’s realistic and rewarding.
Can I combine the safari with Zanzibar?

We’d love to. Many travellers finish their safari with a few days on Zanzibar: adventure first, then unwind on the beach. We blend the two seamlessly into one trip.
What do you mean by “travel with meaning”?

Our guides grew up in Tanzania, we drive your safari ourselves and we work directly with local lodges, without middlemen taking the money out of the country. So most of what you spend on your trip stays in Tanzania. And every year a share of our revenue, topped up with our own funds, goes to the projects around the Ngorongoro Crater.
