On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport your guide welcomes you and takes you to a simple but comfortable hotel in Arusha. Here you can prepare for the safari, recover from your flight and get a first taste of the local culture.

Giant elephants
Tarangire National Park
You begin the safari in famous Tarangire National Park, known for its giant elephants and beautiful savannahs. During the game drives you see countless animals in their natural surroundings. You spend the night at a campsite just outside the park. That way you feel the wild close by.

Wildlife & culture
Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu
Two days where nature and culture come together: first the tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife of Lake Manyara, then the lively village of Mto wa Mbu:
Day 3
Game drives through Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birds and wildlife. Overnight at a campsite near Mto wa Mbu.
Day 4
A cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu: a bike ride through the village, a visit to the market or a meeting with local people. After lunch you set off for the Ngorongoro highlands.

A wonder of the world
The Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast you descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in the world to spot wildlife. Thousands of animals live here, including lions, elephants and rhinos. You spend the night at a campsite just outside the crater, with a beautiful view.

In the heart of nature
Serengeti National Park
Two days in the Serengeti, one of the most iconic safari destinations in the world. During the game drives you go in search of the famous wildebeest migration and predators such as lions and cheetahs. You spend the night at a campsite inside the park: sleeping in the middle of nature.

A gentle finish
Back to Karatu
After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti you drive to Karatu, where you spend the evening at a budget lodge. The perfect way to round off your adventure at a gentle pace and enjoy the local atmosphere.

Coffee & souvenirs
Back to Arusha
On the last safari day you travel back to Arusha. Along the way you can stop for souvenirs or visit a coffee plantation to learn more about local coffee production. Once you arrive, there is time to explore the town.

Departure
