Eleven days of wild nature, from the baobabs of Tarangire and the tree climbing lions of Lake Manyara to the Ngorongoro Crater and three full days in the Serengeti, followed by the white sand and crystal clear water of Zanzibar.

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport your guide welcomes you and takes you to a lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxed evening to recover from the journey and prepare for your safari adventure.

Game drive & walking safari

Arusha National Park

Your safari begins in Arusha National Park, known for its varied ecosystems with imposing Mount Meru as a backdrop. You take a game drive through the park and head out on a guided walking safari with a local ranger, who tells you all about the area’s flora and fauna.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

You set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous baobab trees and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. For two days you spot wildlife: elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and countless bird species, with the savannah as the backdrop.

After breakfast you drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions and rich birdlife. The park offers a unique mix of forest, open plains and an alkaline lake: a game drive full of surprises.

Karatu & coffee tour

Today you drive to Karatu, a picturesque village on the edge of the Ngorongoro highlands. Here you can join a coffee tour and learn all about local coffee growing. Afterwards you relax in the quiet, green surroundings: the perfect breather halfway through your trip.

Ngorongoro Crater

Today you descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater. The crater floor holds an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo and the rare black rhino: the perfect place for a spectacular game drive.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Three full days in the world-famous Serengeti National Park, where endless plains full of wildlife await you. Every day you explore the park on game drives:

Big Five

Looking for elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino, and many other animals.

Migration

Depending on the season, you witness the spectacular movement of wildebeest and zebra.

Morning

Early morning drives, when predators are active and nature is waking up.

Serengeti to Zanzibar

From savannah to beach

Serengeti to Zanzibar

After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti you fly to Zanzibar. Once on the island you are taken to your accommodation on the coast, where you can relax on the beautiful beach. Enjoy a quiet evening with a view over the ocean.

Zanzibar: beach, culture & sea

Two days relaxing on Zanzibar’s beaches, swimming in crystal-clear water and soaking up the sun. Fancy something more active? Take your pick:

Explore historic Stone Town, famous for its rich culture and history.

Spices

Visit the spice plantations and discover why Zanzibar is known as the Spice Island.

On the water

Take a snorkelling trip or a boat ride to one of the nearby islands.
