Safari: The Highlights of Northern Tanzania
This trip takes you to the most famous parks of northern Tanzania, including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti. An extensive safari experience with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife and admire the breathtaking nature.

Day 1-2: Arrival in Arusha & Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you will be met by your guide and taken to your lodge to rest. The next morning you travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephant population and ancient baobab trees. During game drives, you may spot lions, leopards, and herds of buffalo. You will spend the night in a charming lodge in the heart of nature.
Dag 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today you will visit Lake Manyara National Park, a relatively small but spectacular park. Here you have the chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions and large groups of flamingos. You will take a game drive through the dense forests and along the shores of the lake, where you may also encounter giraffes, hippos, and baboons. Overnight stay in a comfortable lodge.
Day 4-5: Ngorongoro Crater
You travel further to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places to spot the Big Five. You descend into the crater and make an extensive game drive through this natural amphitheatre filled with wildlife. Between the safaris, you enjoy a picnic with a beautiful view of the surroundings. Overnight stay in a lodge in Karatu.
Day 6-9: Serengeti National Park
The next four days are fully dedicated to the Serengeti. This iconic park offers endless grasslands where you can see numerous wild animals, including hunting cheetahs, large herds of wildebeests, and majestic elephants. Overnight stays in comfortable tent camps, where you can enjoy a campfire under the African starry sky in the evenings and listen to the sounds of the wilderness.
Day 10: Back to Karatu
After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, you return to Karatu, a cozy village near the Ngorongoro Highlands. Here you can relax in a charming lodge, take a coffee tour, or go for a walk in the hills.
Day 11-12: Arusha and departure
The journey is calmly concluded with one last day in Arusha. Here you can buy souvenirs or relax at the lodge. After that, you will be taken to the airport for your return flight home.
