Safari & Zanzibar: From Wild Nature to Tropical Paradise
A 14-day trip that combines the highlights of Northern Tanzania, with safaris in Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti, ending with relaxation on the exotic island of Zanzibar.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and taken to a lodge in Arusha. Enjoy the evening to prepare for your adventure.
Day 2: Arusha National Park
Today you start your safari with a visit to Arusha National Park. This park is known for its diverse ecosystems, including the impressive Mount Meru as a backdrop. You will take a game drive through the park and go on a guided walking safari with a local ranger, who will tell you all about the flora and fauna of the area. Overnight stay in a lodge in Arusha.
Day 3-4: Tarangire National Park
You are leaving today for Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous baobab trees and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. You will have the whole day to spot wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. You will spend the night in a lodge or campsite near the park, where you can enjoy the view of the savannah.
Dag 5: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and a rich bird population. This park offers a unique mix of forest, open plains, and an alkaline lake. You will take a game drive through the park and have the chance to observe the impressive nature and wildlife. Overnight stay in a lodge near the park.
Day 6: Karatu
Today you will drive to Karatu, a picturesque village at the edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Here you can participate in a coffee tour, where you will learn more about local coffee cultivation and the coffee production process. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to relax in a lodge and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Overnight in a lodge in Karatu.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of the world. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. It is the perfect place for a spectacular game drive. Overnight on the edge of the crater, with a stunning view.
Day 8-10: Serengeti National Park
After your adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater, you will travel to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, where the endless plains filled with wild animals await you. The next three days will be entirely dedicated to safaris, as you search for the Big Five (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros) and many other animals. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular migration of wildebeest and zebras here.
Every day you'll explore the Serengeti during game drives, with a special focus on an early morning safari, when predators are active and nature wakes up. The expansive landscapes and the abundance of wildlife make these days an unforgettable safari experience.
You will overnight in a tented camp or lodge in the heart of the Serengeti, where in the evenings you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky and the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 11: Serengeti to Zanzibar
After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, you will fly to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be taken to your accommodation by the coast, where you can relax on the beautiful beach. Enjoy a peaceful evening with a view of the ocean.
Day 12-13: Zanzibar
For the next two days, you can relax on the beaches of Zanzibar, swim in the crystal-clear water, and enjoy the sunshine. Explore the historic Stone Town, known for its rich culture and history, or take an excursion to the spice plantations to learn more about the island's spice industry. You can also choose a snorkeling trip or a boat tour to one of the nearby islands.
Day 14: Departure
After a wonderful time in Zanzibar, you will be taken to the airport for your flight back home. You will leave with beautiful memories of an unforgettable safari and tropical island enjoyment.
